True North Hotel Group today announced that Karen Steiger and Darren Segura have been named general manager and director of sales, respectively, for the company’s first managed AC Hotel by Marriott, opening late spring in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at 2585 6th Street.
The pair will oversee the launch of the five-story, 120-room hotel located in Tuscaloosa’s vibrant, revitalized downtown, just minutes from popular attractions like the Black Warrior River, the Riverwalk, the Amphitheater, and the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium. Taking maximum advantage of its sweeping views and energetic city vibe, the hotel’s modern European-inspired 5th on Sixth rooftop bar promises to attract locals and guests with its wide offering of beverage and food options.

Today, True North's New England area Marriott associates gathered in Marlborough, MA for the #ForwardForArne Run/Walk/Wheel Event.

From Marriott International:

We're always trying to think of fun and creative ways to let our Guard members know how grateful we are for their service and for staying with us at the same time. We wanted to say our thanks and give them a warm welcome. We brought our snow gear to work and constructed a 6ft "Snowldier." Not only has it been widely appreciated by our Guard, it was an awesome team building experience for those that were able to help us build it.
Our successful portfolio spans a variety of locations, sizes, styles and markets. We enjoy the challenge of ensuring the personality of each hotel reflects its own unique location.
