True North received this wonderful letter from a guest of Fairfield Inn & Suites Leavenworth:

Good afternoon,

I wanted to send out an email just to let y’all know my experience at the Fairfield Inn. My husband and I were stationed here in Leavenworth a year ago, summer 2019. While we were waiting almost two weeks for housing on post to be ready we stayed at the Fairfield Inn. I had all intentions to send an e-mail at that time, after our stay, but life got busy and I forgot.

Almost a year later, we’re here again for a few days before we’re on to the next place. My husband has been in the Army 23 years, we travel A LOT and stay in hotels everywhere... from cheap little 2-star motels to 5-star hotels in New York City and London. Service at this hotel is extraordinarily awesome - from the maids, to maintenance, to the front desk! It seemed like everyone made it a point to ask us how we were or if we needed anything. I was out on a walk with our service dog and the gardeners cleaning the flower beds recognized us, said hi and knew my dog by name. Wow! My biggest praise goes out to Zach Light. I actually remember him from last year and was so glad to see him still working here. Seriously, he is so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and I notice he’s like that with every guest. You don’t want to let this guy go - he’s a gem!

I’ve never written an email like this, and usually when I’m writing reviews, it’s not good. You guys are a great example of what stellar customer service looks like. I feel a little guilty for not singing your praises a year ago.
